This is kinda what I was getting at. Bought 200 pcs of 7mm Weatherby Mag Norma brass that was advertised as once fired. Upon getting it, only about 10% would cycle after I full length sized it. The seller admitted to getting it from some estate auction and because it was fairly clean (someone had tumbled it) he thought it was once fired. He did refund my money, brass went to recycler. I wouldn’t sell any brass that I have not known the complete history of.

Idk sell it as range brass, say very clearly that it APPEARS once fired no GUARANTEES though. After that it's on the buyer imo

WD91, I personally wouldn’t sell brass that I don’t know the history. I have given used brass away that were odd hard to get calibers but clearly stated unknown round count. I never implied it was once fired.

I would take a chance on the 30-30 and 303 british if the price is right. Say 20 cents each.

Well, I'm not Green county Pete but,,,,,,,,,,,
Lake City brass. Government overrun ammunition that gets sold on the civilian market. Good brass.

the head stamp will be LC for Lake City they make all the military contract ammo

it will also have a year
here is a post with a picture brake down
not all of it has all these markings , the older stuff like LC78 will have the letters and numbers only and they will be at the 12,3,6,9 positions
https://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/fc-vs-lc-brass.3948773/page-2#post-37189657

it may not be the best brass around but it is consistent and it is what we load our 5.56 reloads on as it is 5.56 brass and not just for 223 pressures

between different brass manufacturers you can have variation in internal capacity , so we picked the one we see the most of and use that

lc is normally thicker so adjust loads accordingly. federal also makes some military brass or at least has in the past. when I buy my 5.56 once fired it has some mixed in at times. generally I buy processed once fired military brass by the thousand. guy I buy it from gets piece count it by weight. I try not to get saw fired brass it's typically more chewed up and shot in guns with lose chambers.

the case volume LC is actually a bit more than some of the other headstamps

LC used to be operated by Federal so some federal brass was coming out of the facility then about 4-5 years ago Winchester won the contract so now Winchester

also pay attention there is LC 223 marked brass and LC 5.56
223 may or may not be different I haven't researched it

LC is just the most volume of available , similar brass that seems consistent enough for our purpose.
