Been saying it for a week, since a guy at work showed me a Facebook post about them eating dogs and geese. He was very upset I said "I had goose this morning and as long as they aren't steeling someone else's property what do I care what form their protein takes." I think the game warden might but whos to say?
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

I believe what some people were complaining about, was they were worried the haitians would eat THEIR cats or dogs. The pic I saw online of the dude carrying the canada goose is no problem as long as it was in season and he had a federal stamp. Just like I would have. If I were a trapper near there I would try selling them a coon carcass. Joe and Kamala probably gives them a good weekly allowance to pay for it.

I actually have no problem with eating dog and cat , I don't but I would if I was hungry enough. is it really any different than eating coyote , I know people who have done that , I have tried coon , heck I would love a market for possum I am catching all sorts of them. where the line is when it is someone else's property be it chicken , pig , cow , cat , dog , sheep , goat it is a property theft issue not a protein issue if it is wild goose it may be a poaching issue not a protein issue. what I have an issue with is creating a crisis to them waste my tax dollars on there is enough legalized extortion already that I am forced to pay for no need to create more bills for the tax payer with people who have never paid taxes and are very unlikely to in any significant way in the future. we might need some skilled workers , probably not we do have our own people. but we certainly need no more charity cases , want to raise donations for charity solicit them don't spend my tax dollars on charity , this was an absolute tenant of the early US government no charity with taxes. give this a read and you can see why https://www.semissourian.com/forums/speakout/thread/6259

I know they eat dogs in some countries but never heard of cat They eat cats in China. Saw it on TV some years back. They would dunk the dead cat in boiling water to remove the hair. That was televised. Certain restaurants served it. They also have some of their chickens suspended in cages over their salmon ponds. The chicken's excrement would fall through the mesh into the pond where the salmon would scramble to eat it. I quit buying pond-raised salmon from China after that. Now, it's only wild-caught Alaskan salmon for me.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

Starting to sound more like culture clash than right or wrong......provided they acquire these animals by legit means and are not stealing pets. Curious the left gives them a total pass on this but crucified Gov Noem for shooting a bad dog. Dog dies either way.
I've never been hungry enough to eat dog or cat......or horse......or possum, but I've been fortunate enough to find enough of what I'm used to eating I never had to consider it. For as long as I can remember people have made jokes about finding cat carcasses out back of chinese restaurants. There are not many parts of a hog i won't try, but that would not go over well in other parts of the world.
So what may be the issue is how are we going to assimilate all these cultures into the collective. A similar condition may exist in MN with the Somalis. And others in Dearborn MI. As near as i can tell, those cultures remain a world unto themselves. Not Americans..........they remain foreigners in America.
Easy to vote your way into socialism, but impossible to vote your way out of it.
