Same . Just stopped by the gun store today and they were swamped. Made me wonder if it was the same elsewhere. Lots of friends stocking up on ammo. Especially the ones who own cats. lol

You only need one gun....you use that to get other guns...

It should go like this if done assuming shelter is a given
1) water
2) food
3) first aid
4) sanitation/hygiene
5) protection
6) illumination

had a talk with my wife about ordering several cases of things like 9mm. saw $249 per 1000. I don't even own a 9mm. But last time I could have made 400% during the shortages.

I tend to saty well stocked on what I use and need but alway buy more when it's at a good price . And that's why I'm never running short.

would you? I have heard a lot of stories some probably real some likely made up over the years from old timers. Wouldn't be anything I would consider unless it was a last resort to feed the family. but deer are not hard to kill in daylight and I hope things never get that bad where breaking any laws would become necessary. At that point things would really have devolved in the country.

Looks great Gary. Throw some protein (deer/beef) in some of those jars. Very easy and last a long time without refrigeration. I also have 10 gallons of lard sealed up in jars. Vegetable only get you so far, gotta have protein and calories.

I keep looking for the people who bought all the canning supplies during Covid to sell them off cheap but that plan has not come to fruition yet.

It does not cease to amaze me that people who save a little money for a rainy day wont put back a few groceries for the same reason. You likely wont need either one but just like concealed carry if you ever do need it you will need it real bad.

Where do you put all that stuff if you lose your house?
