The Harbor Freight 5mil nitrile are decent for the price but not real heavy duty. I use them for light duty (one or two critters at a time). If I have more to skin, I use Raven 6mil nitrile. A little more expensive but much tougher. There are lots of other options including 7mil or 9mill thickness but they are typically double the price of the 5 mil Harbor Freight Nitrile gloves.
I definitely prefer nitrile over latex or vinyl. Any of them will keep your hands clean but the nitrile will block odor far better than latex and vinyl seems to tear if you look at them sideways.

Bought a pack from harbor freight. Double layer they hold up for a few critters unless you snag a claw or nip with knife. They are fairly inexpensive and work well enough for me. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

No matter what type of latex glove you use It's a lot better to wear some type of cotton glove over them.

The cheapest nitrile ones at the dollar store-they are disposable,no need for great quality.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

The best I like are from Napa BUT they are black and hide ticks.
During the dempanic HF over here donated all their gloves to medical folks. Pretty cool.

No matter what type of latex glove you use It's a lot better to wear some type of cotton glove over them. X2! I agree! So much better grip on greasy hides. One pair of cheap cotton gloves lasts a few hundred coons and the nitrile gloves last until your done skinning.

I’ve used the 8mil Gorilla Mechanics glove. I can usually peel them off for smoke breaks twice before they’re too hard to get back on. Never looked into the price difference of cheap ones, but I’m sliding on a new one more frequently and I just toss em when going for a dart. I also use a super thin cut resistant cloth glove on my left hand, way more grip. But I may not need it, I’ll be trying out my skinning rig in a few weeks.

Small highjack from an old guy - Anyone ever use plastic or latex gloves for pan covers like me? The lightweight ones used in kitchen prep worked for me for 10 years. A truly "thrifty" trapper. My tip for the day.......................... the mike
