What's your favorite lure to fish, whether or not you catch anything with it or ever have?
I just love to fish a Crazy Crawler parallel to a bluff in deep water, and have caught some dandy Bass with it. And fishing a spinner bait SLOW, so it bounces off the bottom, and I catch a LOT of Channel Cat like that. Johnson's Silver Minnow. NEVER EVER caught anything on one in over 60 years of trying.
I have a tackle box full of lures, that the only thing they've ever caught was ME!
Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon.

Probably my favorite is a Rapala jointed in perch color. It’s usually my go to on any freshwater lake, pond, or river.
Other favorites include Storm Wild Eyes, Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps, spinner baits, Zara Spooks, Jitterbugs and the lowly plastic worm.
Eh...wot?

Throw mostly spoons ---Little Cleo and Daredevils for pike. Rapala and Berkley crankbaits a close second.

I like throwing frogs at dawn, whacking stumps with a heavy spinner most of the day, and buzz baits in the evening.
Unless it's cold out that's all I do!
