We closed on our cabin Wednesday, last night me and the 2 oldest boys ripped all the carpet out of the downstairs and hauled it away. Today were replacing the plastic well pump with a new cast iron jet one. I bought one of those ozone generators that's supposed to kill all odors, I'd say the jury is out on that, the previous owners had cats and it has eliminated alot of the cat odor but not quite as advertised.

Great day so far, met up with Muskrat Walt and talked everything outdoors for a while this morning. He gave me some floats for beaver and muskrats as well as gave me a bunch of ideas for other trapping equipment and a few things to copy. Then went squirrel hunting with The Boy, My Trapping partner and the dogs. Now getting ready for a coworkers wedding reception.

Cut down all my giant sunflowers for the season. Birds got a good meal for a few weeks here. Had to use a hack saw to cut the stalks.

They were 2 + inches thick and 15 to 18 ft. Set some mouse traps on mower motor to keep the buggers from chewing my wiring and plastic trim as they tend to do all winter.

Picked deer poop in back yard for a while. Packed orders.
