Annual reminder to plant your garlic now for harvest next summer. [Linked Image]

We usually have enough to get us through most of the year on top of what we give away to friends and family.

Wondering what kind you guys are planting? I don't know much about garlic but what I planted last fall didn't make very big bulbs. I might have not fed and watered it right I don't know. I did plant it about this time last fall. It topped out and fell over around end of June. Bulbs were small compared to what I see other have. The wife ordered the seed stock on line last summer. Thought it was called like Giant or something like that??
I,d like to try it again just no idea what to plant here in WI.

The best advice I can give you is go to the La Crosse Farmer's market and look at what the vendors are selling. Talk to them and choose two or three different varieties. This will get you some stock that has been successful in your particular area.

Here if it doesn’t rain there’s no sense in planting it I’m not sure if my wheat is going to grow.
