What happened to the Mepps® Lusox?
While the Mepps® Lusox was a great lure and it caught a lot of fish, it never really caught on with the fishermen. So, several years ago it was discontinued. Your best bet to try to find one would be to haunt all the tackle stores you can. You may be lucky enough to run across one.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I get the blanks from a company in China and paint myself. After 30+ years of tournaments and guiding, lipless/blade baits are the most versatile baits I found

Those are some beauties there. Lipless cranks are one of my favorites too. Anything in gold seems to outperform
other colors for me.

They are versatile. Speed burning them over weeds, slow-rolling, but my favorite technique is bouncing them off rocks. Those beautiful paint jobs probably wouldn’t look as good after a few dozen rock hits. LOL

Most success I ever had was with a purple worm that I found in a crappie I was cleaning. I figured it worked once, and so it was worth trying again. I was right!

Dipped KBS epoxy finish. Rock hard and holds up to rocks very well

Double rigged Shad Darts, Redhead, White body and white hair. 1/32oz.

If there are fish there, this rig will catch them.

My favorite of all time is a chrome black back Norman Little Scooper. Bought a bunch when they quit producing them and still have a few. Crappie, Bass and Walleye on them. Fun little crank to teach a kid to fish.

5 1/8 used to be my go-to, but now 4 7/8. The sockeye are smaller now than they used to be. Must be climate change.
