Lol!! They just can’t do it. Always hitting stuff, can’t back up and 4 way stops seem to be astrophysics to them.

There is a perfect biological answer to this and I will explain it if asked.

Ok PF here’s why.

Men as a whole are better drivers because we tend to only think about or preform one task at a time. Women on the other hand are much better at multitasking. They can be listened to the TV, talk to the kids and making dinner at the same time. Simple put their brains never shut off. They are always thinking about multiple things at the same time.

If the normal dude is focused on something like listening to the radio. His wife can try talking to him but most likely he won’t hear a word or just bits and pieces of what she says. So we focus more on driving while driving. Women are thinking about needing to tell their BF how good she looked at church this weekend, did Billy put on clean underwear this morning, I love the song on the radio now and on and on.

That all being said some of my best silage truck drivers are women. My wife is a great silage truck, tractor and vehicle driver. One of the main reasons why they are good at truck driving is because unlike older men they don’t think they know everything and aren’t afraid to ask questions

the insurance folks used to tell you girls had less risk
sure they made little finder benders
but high dollar loss risk like 110mph down a country road and roll the car in the corner and kill 2 friends and spend a week in ICU
they didn't drive as much in bad weather , they didn't drive as fast , they didn't show off to their friends , much less likely to engage in risky driving

however with greater gender equality ,the insurance folks tell us those numbers are evening out

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

This girl can drive. 4:07 Gets interesting at 2:00 mark.

I learned how to drift a car around age 20. Good thing I was working at a tire shop at the time.

Been around circle tracks my whole life. Some try, some get fair but none have ever been "good". No car control.

I love those videos!

What I didn't add, is while I'm in agreement with Pawnee, I am really great at navigating. Like if something jumps out etc. multi tasking has its benefits

This. Insurance companies are all about the money and assigning risk. There's a reason young men have more expensive insurance than young girls. (It's the same reason that almost every funny video of someone doing something stupid and dangerous is a young man).

Those are just averages though. Both men and women drivers generally suck, and everyone thinks they're a better driver than average.

My oldest son got hit by a car on his bike yesterday, by a woman on her phone. Not bad, just enough to knock him off the bike. When she managed to finally put her phone down, she yelled at him, backed up, drove around him, and left.

I can agree with all this, but if you haven't witnessed an Asian female drive then you really need to, ... backing up is a major adventure.... grin

Nine times out of ten when I’m being tailgated it’s a 20–50-year-old woman behind me.

I’m a good driver, ridiculously safe. But I can only drive a pickup truck. Have to have a good view of things. If I ever have to drive my moms Honda, I feel like I’m Fred Flintstone and my feet are darn near on the pavement.
And don’t ask me to drive the quad. I’m scared to death I’m gonna flip over

That has been my observation, as well. The same for drivers screaming past me, and in general thinking they are completely alone on the road.

Everybody thinks they are a great driver. Even those that can only drive their own specialized rig.

What I like is when I am giving directions (to a female) and say "turn north on B street". Invariably...." is that right or left?????" Dang it! It's north! Right or left depends which way you're approaching B street from! LOL

Yep. Fastest way to get my wife lost is to give her compass directions. Almost without fail she goes the opposite way.
