Can't tell due to the usual Atlanta glare.

Something strange is going on with the animals here in Virginia. At least around me. I have 20 cameras out on 3 different properties and not a single buck and very few does. I get an occasional bobcat or two and that's it. I've talked to quite a few others in and around my county and they are saying the same thing. Normally the 1st week of bow season a lot of deer have been killed. Not this year!

I can’t say the same Spike. Other than more deer being off of the beans and on the hard mast, I’m seeing exceptional movement. Especially on this cold front.

Saw there here as well. I haven't seen them since 1989. Start looking when you hear about G4 or 5 solar storms happening.

Finally saw them here on the Island, red mostly, but could see the greens through the camera better... been waiting a long time to get a glimpse.

I'm seeing similar here in southern Georgia. Not the deer activity that's typical for this time of year. Our rut peaks here in about a week. And the temps have dipped in the upper 50s for lows. Timing and conditions are perfect but something's amiss.

Could not sleep last night. I think it may have had something to do with them.

I know this is a 5-day old thread, but I thought I'd post a few pics that I took from our camp on Lake Superior. The aurora was visible as soon as the sky darkened, and they were still going good when I got up the next morning to go fishing. They were straight above, to both sides and even looking south. Best light show we've ever seen, but there was also a great one this Spring, almost as good. I still have to sort through about 300 pics that my wife and I took with our phones, but we both agree that these are a few of our favorites so far.......

Here's a better one....

She wore scarlet begonias, tucked into her curls. I knew right away, she was not like other girls.
