Read this and thought . . . why not try it. Susan occasionally lets me know how raunchy looking the inside of my thermos looks. So we filled it with water and added two of her retainer cleaners and let it set overnight. Voila! Sparkling clean in the morning. Passing it along here.

Interesting not sure if I seen that In FF&G many years ago. But I have been using that method for many years.

It seriously works! Been using denture cleaner in my Thermoses for decades.. Many times I find deer hunting coffee in my Thermos when I get it out in Spring, While I still consider it "perfectly good coffee" (albeit a little chunky) a couple Polident tabs overnight makes it like brand new. I also put the stopper in the cup and drop in a tablet too,

At this point I can't get the thong off of me so maybe a good soak in the tub with a box of Polident might work!

After. Looks like it works. Had to do it twice. That thermos is about 20 years old at least. Was pretty stained inside.

This works well on stained toilets as well and will make the porcelain bright white again.

I don't clean the seasoning outta my coffee mug.
