Anyone have any expereince with these scope mounts/rings? Here is a link the them on midway:

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1019633534?pid=599893

I'm in the market for a set of bases and rigns for a new browning .243. I have always had two seperate peices for the base and rings... and I like the idea of a one piece like these
Thanks,

Robert Martin

the issue with a base and ring like that is while the instillation looks clean , it can be very hard to get the eye relief correct

and having perfect eye relief to where your face lands on the stock , really speeds the target acquisition the last thing you want when you pull up a rifle is to have to do any moving of your head to find the spot

you should be able to pull up while looking at the game, and when the rifle is in your shoulder face on the stock , your looking through an edge to edge clean image

this is why I use EGW rails on everything https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018662029?pid=652477

allows me maximum adjustment to get the scope in the perfect spot

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I've used them on a few projects. Like above, I use rails and HD rings for most of my personal rifles. Key is what scope are you pairing with it. Some tubes are short/stubby to the turret and others have longer tubes and allow for more movement. I dry fit everything first and use painters tape so no knicks/scratches if you need to return.
