Buehler pitched well. There were a few very solid hits but the defense was in the right spot, so he was pitching the hitters according to their game plan. Some good D on behalf of the Dodgers as well.

The Dodgers won 8-0, two down, two to go.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Arron Judge hit his 14th career playoff home run on Tuesday night That puts him in 5 th place all time career homerun by\ a Yanke Babe Rurh has 15 Mickey Mantle 18 Jerer 20 and Bernie Willims is at the top of that list with 22 Of course Mantle and Ruth did not have playoff games during their career . If Judge is about to go on a hot streak over the remaining games left to be played this year he could pass both Mantle and Ruth by the time the season ends And if that streak happens it makes it very likely the Yankees are the series winner and Judge is Series MVP Right now the Yankee hitters are as hot as they have been the whole season If they get on a roll it will be over before tt starts

Yankees got the Indians again last night , one more like that and they are done. The Mets put a whoopin' on the lowly Dodgers, sure be nice if that would continue to happen for a couple more games,,, I won't hold my breath. lol

The Yankees are not a dominating unbeatable team They have their flaws But right now it is not just two or 3 players getting timely hits or making game changing plays on defense For example Wells the catcher had not iht a home run in about a month but his bleacher shoot gave them a boost when they needed one And Soto not noted for great defensive player made a great play on the warning track to turn a double or maybe a triple
into an out

Looks like the Yankees in the world series. I hope they will be facing the Mets, but if not, I hope they beat the Dodgers in 4 games.

A Yankee/Dodger Series brings back memories for me. I think the first World Series that I remember was the New York Yankees against the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Was gone trapping for 5 days. Mets are probably as high as the 2 WS teams in salary but yes it seems to take a team salary north of 250 million to get to the top. Brewers, Cleveland and Detroit were on the lower ends salary wise and made th playoffs. I am routing for the NL as I usually do. I grew up as a young kid listening to the Braves in the late 50s. learned all the NL teams and players and has stayed with me through the decades.
