I'm in shop class and my motor wont fire it has spark compression fuel the timing marks are set the valves move if tried gas in the spark plug hole nothin works please give me suggestions
oh also I cleaned the carb twice

Flooded? Dry spark plug and pull cord with plug out, use a paper towel to catch fuel that comes out of the hole when you pull. Make sure plug wire is grounded to prevent lighting fumes.

Plugged air intake or air filter?

I would check the air gap on magneto, check the valve gap.

checked valve gap air gap for magneto is 0

ok with a little Google search I need to fix my air gap for the magneto

plug wire is grounded no clogs will try all the suggestions until it works

Did you check the shut off thing that kills the motor when you release the kill bar?

Should be ok if you have spark.

intake, compression, power, exhaust

in that order, You may be getting fuel but is it dripping in or atomized as its coming into the cylinder? Check choke and air filter at this stage

The marks are lined up but correctly? Need the intake to open on the intake stroke , i have seen folks put it 180 degrees off.

Does it have compression? how much?

Power is spark (heat), fuel, and air

remove air filter , pull cord after a little starting fluid see if it will pop, that will till you if its carb or internal


Magneto should be around .012 not 0 FYI

Be sure you don't have water in the bottom of the tank.

Will it pop with a shot of starting fluid

no water in the tank and I don't have starting fluid so no idea

Make sure key isn't sheared that alines the flywheel.
