We will be lucky to break 5, including 2 Grandsons. As usual we bought candy for well over 50.

I would be amazed if we got a trick or treater here. I bought my farm in 2012 and have never had any here. The closest house across the street is 6/10ths of a mile. The closest houses on my side and on the state highway I have frontage on, are hundreds of yards. If a kid showed up here I would load him up, to reward their effort.

Zero out here. We would always take the kids to town.

I love Halloween!

Wife always buys candy I like so get the leftovers. We are in kind of a weird spot in neighborhood. Nextdoor neighbor brought their little guy over for his first Halloween trick or treating. So one so far With wind and cold maybe the only one. Guess will see. We have had years with none. When kids were little maybe 25 kids was most ever.

Not enough kids young enough in my little neighborhood to warrant putting anything out. Might be 3 kids young enough within walking distance for a kid around here that I know of.

We had one......about 25 years ago. It was the neighbor. Not including grandkids of course. We used to leave a full bowl of chocolate on the deck railing while we took our own kids out. Never a bar missing.

We went to town and walked around. Always a good time. Saw quite a few DJT’s…

The kids had a party here, probably 25 kids. Dropped them off to various neighborhoods that that they scoped out for the best candy a little while ago, and will pick them up later. We've had exactly 1 trick or treater at the house though.

We're in a secured apartment complex so non-resident access is limited. We up candy out for the kids in the complex, but with new owners there was nothing organized as in past years. Texts were sent out to a few of our neighbors.

This year was busy with tricker treaters out on the street. Kids, parents pulling wagons, carloads, utvs, even a JD tractor pulling two hay wagons.

I've been contemplating a slide or cannon to launch candy across the courtyard from the third floor to the kids out on the street.

We had planned on going out of town for a party tonight. We didn't know what to expect here at the new house...This was the plan:

I built a tripod with a paper matchet witches cauldron hanging from it at the front porch. I filled it with candy bars, and let them take what they wanted on the honor system.

The weather cancelled the party. so I'm just sitting around monitoring the pot. Just a few kids. The pot is so obvious that the kids don't bother to ring the bell, just grab and leave.

I live on a sparsely populated dead end city street, and probably less than a dozen kids as of 7:30.

Didn't think they could make the candy bars any smaller but I was wrong!

Can't believe anyone walked this far back.
In the DARK.
Good thing we had candy.

I’m at camp, I always am this time of year. Camp is the last stop for electric service on a lonely dirt road. We never get trick or treaters. grin
