This year I want to skin out the feet on some critters, and was wondering how you pin the feet out so it will dry properly. Any pictures or advice would be appreciated.

******* I save my sick days, because come winter, I'm gonna have a bad case of trappin fever *******

Stuff paper towels down the legs, not super tight, just enough that it'll keep things opened up a little, and they'll soak up a lot themselves. I change them after about 48 hours

What size of animal are you talking about.
Skin the toes down to the last joint, and cut the bone off there leaving only the claw and last knuckle attached to the skin.trim the fat from the pads with poultry shears and dry them(larger animals) inside out.You can turn the feet back when dry

I do what Boco says plus

I typically pin the legs like normal and fill the foot with borax.

I prep all my fur taken with the intent to use it for hats first, and other stuff after the hats are done, I always leave paws on !

Paws are simple once you get the hang of it, don't hurry if you wish to have the paws on, slow and methodical

Use a sharp edge and a narrow blade, take down to the last knuckle where the claw is, turn it upside down and sever the nail at its joint.
By this time the paw will be inside out, and if its not you turn it inside out, I salt the paws over night while the rest is on the stretcher, then shake the salt out the next day, then you may force then out with some paper shoved in them, and just let dry

After dry take the paper out, your done send them out to tan just like regular no paw pelts.

When you get them back moisten them a bit until you can shape them and again put paper in to hold shape what you wish
let dry, then remove paper again, you are done !
