I've been using Phillips 66 5-30 (synthetic blend)in my vehicle's, I bought them new they now have 200 plus thousand miles on them and still look and run like new, now we aren't able to get that oil anymore everyone has quite carrying it ( not able to get it) I'm wondering what would be a decent oil to go with? Are all brands equal? Should I stay with a synthetic blend or?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

but Valvoline if you want a brand name Napa is Valvoline or used to be.
I change at 3K I have been mostly using Resolute as it has been on decent sales at fleet farm Blains farm and fleet oil is the other one fairly sure it is Ashland oil.
these are mostly synthetic blend now
you can check the actual oil analysis of the additives package , project farm does this on a bunch
check out project farm as well he did a good run down on a bunch of oils. there mist be 5+ videos on oil from project farm.
I have used Kirkland when I can get it , I don't have a Costco membership but when they run a good sale a co-worker will pick my up some jugs.

On my gasoline vehicles I've used Castrol for years and I change oil about every 20K miles, my diesel vehicles, Delo 400 change every 5000. If you've been using synthetic, you might want to continue with that.

that seems liek you said that backwards
20K on a gas engine for an oil change is a long time , who's filter is even rated for that?
5K on gas
20K on diesel
would make a lot more sense

Walmart's super tech oil is good to go. The various store brands like O'Reilly's are good also. Buy name brand if it makes you feel better, but it's not really necessary.

Mobil 1 synthetic. 2011 Honda odyssey van, bought new, 370K miles, 10K mile oil changes, doesn't use any. Change our cars at 10K. Toyota Tundra at 6-8K. Mobil 1 has a synthetic they guarantee for 20K as well as a filter for 20k. 10K is half life. Guys that get serious about having their oil analyzed seemingly go 12k+ on oil changes with synthetic.

I too use Phillips oil and have for years. The last case I bought was online as only place I could find it. I've put 300,000 on three pickups using it.

If it is what I am using Phillips 66 changed the name to Shield now - same synthetic blend. Orscheln which is now Bomgaars is where I last purchased it. You can still find Shield though maybe not at Orscheln.
