Good job, keep remaking, use the same trap at the same location. Keep after them, and the most important thing, have fun!

I got my first red fox today. Pretty exciting as this is my first year trapping. In fact it's my first catch in a foothold. I set a couple traps last weekend and one kept getting dug up. When I found a scat pile I put a trap below it and sure enough that's the trap that got it. My goal for the whole season was to get a fox, I thought I'd get a lot of skunks or coons before I got a fox.

So now that I've caught it, do I continue to keep my sets in the same spots? Or is this a "one and done" type deal if they're solitary creatures? I see people will reuse the same spots for coyotes but wasn't sure about fox.

Thanks everyone! I really am super pumped to hear that I can catch more in the same spot. I'll go set a few more traps too. I could have gotten lure or bait on my hands, I think they weren't very solid at first though. I've been watching lots of videos and trying to mimic what they do. I sure tried to find a mentor but when that doesn't work out, you make do!
