well i was in for my yearly checkup yesterday and decided to pull the trigger on this one(and only one) so i got my first of 2 shots,doc said it should be a sore arm for a day or two,holy crap this morning i felt like i got ran over by a truck.any way im glad i got it in my non shooting arm,cause im gonna need my other arm to shoot the big one tomorrow.LOL hopefully

I should get it. I had it a couple years ago and i wasnt even 40. It was a “mild” case, but still sucked.

I learned , never book anything medical like a small surgery for the week before deer season

when I asked the doc will I be good for deer season a week later , oh sure

Two years ago, I had an adverse reaction to being vaccinated and almost died. My blood pressure went up to 240 and my blood oxygen level to 71%. I had the Moderna Covid vaccine, Flu vaccine and Shingles vaccine given on the same day. Several doctors I saw said that the Shingles vaccine is the worst of those three for adverse reactions.

The shingrix vaccine (2 shots) was the worst for side effects I have had, and totally worth it. Having had shingles twice, once after having already had the zostervax vaccine, I don't ever want them again and the shingrix effectiveness is in the mid 90%.

I had the two Shingrix shots a couple years ago. Don't recall any ill effects

The second shot was worse on me than the first. I had shingles once. Started in my left eye. I lost a little vision. My eye dr said if it happened again, might go blind in that eye

I had no effects from the first shot and a sore arm from the second. Everyone reacts differently.

I had both of mine a few years ago. The first was fine, no effect. The second, a little sore in the injection spot, but that was all. Went away in a couple days. From everything I've heard about how awful shingles are, I'm glad I did.

Sore arm for a couple days is all I had.

Saw some folks who had shingles, and didn't want any part of that

Buddy is a little younger than me, mid 40's. He got Shingles on his head a few years ago. It went into his eye or the nerve behind his eye. He almost lost his eye. Guy thought he was having an aneurysm or something. Said he's never felt pain like that.. Ever since then, every time he gets a cold or bug or whatever and his system tries to fight it off, he has all kinds of eye problems. Swells shut, gets pressure and he can't see out of it, etc..

I'll be getting the shingles shot as soon as I am able.

I had one dose of the Shingles and was BEGGING for the shot, No problems since.

looking at my paperwork they call this one recombinant zoster(shingles) vaccine,i dont know im no doctor but i sure hope the second one isnt worse than the first

Dont take those garbage vaccines,Take some dog de wormer and youll be good.

My dad had shingles and it was misery.I had both shots with no problems.

Mom and grandma both had shingles. After seeing the pain and utter agony it caused them I got vaccinated. Not too sore but I was out of sorts for a day
