I love skunk smell in the morning! When I got in the truck yesterday my wife said she smelled skunk on our way to town. Just that time of year.

I love the smell of skunk too.
Other folks, not so much.
Years ago I had to sit in a board room meeting with the executives of a fairly large company that owned forty-some properties in my area. They were interviewing me to see if they would use my property management company to manage their properties.
I had caught a skunk that morning. Dispatch went well, there was no spray. I thought all was good after a change of clothes.
I could tell by the slight sniffs and the sour faces that all was not good. LOL
I don’t know if they realized it was me or not but I think they suspected.
It turned out okay, I got the contract. I was pretty nervous there for a while though.
Eh...wot?

Nope, not lure.
After skinning, I smell like whatever I'm skinning tho.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

My husband hates when I skin and flesh raccoons. He can’t stand the smell of them. Of course that’s mostly what I catch For somebody that poses for their picture with ragged clothes on , I would think smelling like a coon or fox would not matter, lol.

Stef Forget had that coon lure called "Procoon". It was sickenly sweet smelling.
I spilled a little bit in my wifes car one time. She was ok with the smell for the first 2 days. Then on the third she came home and told me I had to get her car detailed, as it was starting to give her headaches. Even after the detailing there was a slight sweet odor in the car.
A few years ago I came home from a rondy with a bottle of coyote lure. She told me I wasn't allowed in the house smelling like I did. The kicker... I never opened the bottle, carried in a plastic bag, and it rode in the bed of the pickup. She asked her dad what the smell I had on me was. He looked at her and said; "Smells like money to me." Had my best year on coyotes that year and averaged $70/coyote. She loved me again for a little while. The bank hated it when I went in after the fur sale and the check smelled like coon and coyotes.

I always walk into my house and my whole family gets mad because I smell like a straight up coyote lure Bet lots of yall deal with it too haha Not really, I keep my bait gloves and setting gloves far apart. I try not to get that smell anywhere but the bait hole, I sure don’t want it on my traps or chains. Sometimes in winter I’ll forget that I dabbed a low branch with marten lure and brush by it the next check…but that’s it for the most part. I love the smell of conventions though! Heck Fire…..that’s friggin strong stuff!…lol

I really miss the smell of a fur dealers shop, especially during muskrats trapping. Muskrat seemed to make everything else smell better. JMHO

I actually asked a man that said he was a medical professional and he said I was basically a liar. I thought there was something wrong with me or it was all in my head.

Years ago when I was running hard all day. The wife always put a steering wheel cover and seat cover on my truck and our car. Then if she had to drive the truck she take the cover off so didn't stink her self or hands up. LoL. I always came in house when I was done for the day. Strip down right in front of washing machine throw my clothes in. Go in shower clean up. When came out start the washing machine. Go eat some throw clothes in dryer and go to bed. In morning get dressed in front of the dryer start all over again. Makes it a lot easier on the rest the family if can isolate the stink a bit.
