And you were worried the Republicans wouldn't win the Senate. Now, at least for two years, he can get decent Judges confirmed. The Supremes have far surpassed what I thought them willing to do. Looks like the Senate could be 53 - 47.

LMBO @ lovely idea. I doubt she could teach 2nd graders to play checkers in the morning and still win a game of it by lunch time.

FYI in case you's didn't know, U.S. District Judge Stephen P. McGlynn "was commissioned as a United States District Judge upon the nomination of President Donald Trump and confirmation of the United States Senate."
Eh...wot?

Judges are going to be his best legacy. Got a bunch on the federal bench his first term including three SCOTUS. Real possibility of Alito and Thomas stepping down and maybe Sotomayor. So he might get two to three SCOTUS this term making his imprint more than any other president since FDR, who had nine.
The democrats would like Sotomayor to step down while Biden is still the president so he can replace her. She doesn't seem to interested in stepping down according to what I've heard. I doubt Alito or Thomas will retire until Trump is sworn in.

since many on the Left are on record as supporting expanding SCOTUS, I think Trump should introduce that idea again when he takes office... ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/11/full-15350-236271-thumb_up_winking_emoticon_vector_21534979.jpg) That'd blow their mind, especially after the turtle hammered them on eliminating the filibuster on judges earlier.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
