Does anyone do any weasel trapping in Utah? I want to set a small line out with my daughter, just not sure the ins or outs or the best locations to set. Thanks for any advice.

What part of Utah are you in

Im in northern Utah, north of Ogden.

I don’t know what part of town you’re in, but if you could go find some culverts and set a weasel box in there it wouldn’t hurt nothing.

I bet you can throw a few boxes out along the Bear River and do okay. Wouldn’t set right on the river but where the river bottom breaks up to the ag fields. Look for rock piles and down cottonwoods. Might as well throw out some mink and raccoon sets while you are down there but may want to wait until the pheasant hunt ends.
