I was watching Sommers in Alaska when you walked into the store. I was like hey I recognize that guy! Very cool. I also loved the interview you did with him.

Haha yeah it was so funny, i had actually watched one of his videos earlier that morning then he popped up in my Village. Good guy, very talkative and eager to listen.

Yeah they are both Hudson Bay Axes. One is a Council Tool and the other is an older one my dad gave me when i was around 14 that has no brand or any markings on it. Both are awesome tools that i never go out into the woods without. Thanks for asking and watching, God Bless

I knew that one looked like a Council Tool.I have the Council Tool and Snow & Nealley Hudson Bay Axes. The Snow & Nealley has a thinner bit and is very sharp for chopping but is not a good splitter. The Council Tool has a little wider bit so it will do some splitting,,as well as being sharp enough for chopping.Good thing about the Council Tool Axe is that the Poll is also hardened,,so you can pound with the Butt of the axe without disfiguring the axe eye.

Nice seeing you on the line, Gary. Reminded me much of the trails I traveled with JR last March south of Fairbanks in his big mountains. Two weeks of him showing me his line and going to the Fling and banquet of the ATA.

Thank you for taking time to video your travels. Very enjoyable for me.
