So a friend of mine and his wife go out to their deer stand. They place a doe decoy out in front. Along comes this shooter buck the wife takes the shot. Hits the buck high and to far back. The buck runs off and is out of sight. In about 3 minutes the buck comes running back with the arrow still In It approaching the doe decoy the husband takes the shot and puts that deer down.

I absolutely believe it! Couple years ago, this buck was chasing a doe about 200 yrds out from me. Another buck rammed his rear end a launch him doing barrel rolls. Could tell he was hurt. And just laid in the field looking around. 20 or minutes later doe came by and he got up and chased it on 3 legs. Came by me and I took him out. Broken hind leg and puncture wounds everywhere

years ago late doe season
I had a doe come back 2x after being shot at with a muzzle loader

I fired the shot miss
reloaded and just as I am pulling the ram rod I see her walking back at me

fired again , missed again
reloaded and just as I am pulling the ram rod she is coming back again , as I raise the gun up she runs off

I found a dead tree and took aim at the center of the tree , grazed the edge of it confirming I was well right of the deer both times , about 8 inches of snow no blood
Loctite is your friend , sights had come loose and moved
