Long story short. Big .338 boolits in 6.5 grendel case out of a AR-15 for subsonic suppressed stuff. Nope not a 338-06, not a .35rem not a whatever 80yr cartridge or weatherby wildcat ,that was made to do something else

The suppressed side of the gun world has been loosing it ..been kinda funny to watch. Why ? Eveyone's been dropping $1500+ to build AR10's in the 8.6 blackout..... Then you got the guys with the .338; specter and razor backs...and now Hornady made something that's easier to load ,cheaper to build ,and their gonna have factory ammo o and unlike 8.6 blackout with its 1:3 twist this uses 1:8 so you can...you know shoot cheap stuff like cast out of it.

Little brother been talking about wanting to build one. Why ? It looks silly ( his reasoning for most things)and big chunks of lead makes things go sploosh. ...his words

They make pellet guns with more velocity!

I won't likely try it , the 300 is working for me the way I use it I don't do much for subs.

if I hadn't gone 300blk before 350legend was a thing I would probably run a legend now

the 300 is stacking bullets so no complaints there with the 150 deer season xp and it is working on deer

170s were not available for a few years after 350 was a caliber bullets had to catch up.

much the way 300 bullets had to catch up as well

Factory ammo is nice , when you are just hunting it and want to buy some and don't need hundreds of rounds.

the 150s in the 300 are running 14fps extremes spread right now


if we didn't have to have stupid laws , I would just use 308 and be done
but we have to play games , my 300 is a pistol so I can run it in a pistol and shotgun only township.

Not with 175 gr pellets. I have never seen anything that was necked up I liked. Neck that down to 17 and it would catch my eye.

Well with legit subsonic needing to under 1200fps to get the whole super quiet thing
