… the first thing you need to figure is how to get the mink to go in the cage … and trigger the trap

… after that you’ll be rolling partner

Insert profound nonsense here

Vinke,

Why wouldn't your otter tricks work?

make the set in the form of a covered tunnel along a vertical edge or in a debris pile. Mink like to instinctively enter tunnels. Drape some grass over the openings. No bait needed.

If you trap in Wahington, like I do, you should know that you will catch more mink in colony traps for muskrats than any other way. Are you for real?

From chatting with guys in cage states , and listening to Jim Comstock on a few podcasts, use a cage like a conibear and you good .
Single doors as a cubbies
Double doors like trail sets , bottom edges , ect

Mink in the northwest, eat on average 1 muskrat per week, according to Washington state game biologist’s. So, where should one set for mink?
