Anyone else have issues with these? The taper is too close to the end that inserts into the stake end and gets wedged onto the stake end. Built very sturdy but for the price I'd expect better. Very frustrating trying to pull the driver along with the end still attached up through the ground again. Any other heavy duty drivers recommended?

That's what I'm going to do, just seems like a common sense design flaw and for the price you shouldn't have to

I use to go through at least one thirty dollar driver a season. Bought two of the 14 inch lady foot pry bars three years ago and they re both still working for super stakes in my clay soil. Just require a little grinding initially to fit the super stake. I think I paid 4.95$ each for them. Probably drive superstakes about 200 times a season too.
