I usually watch forecast each day and see if the lows are gonna follow the coast or track N or S . This one down by you is looking pretty big

The ones that come in here from the Pacific typically are nasty one or two day events. The outflow winds, out of interior passes can snort for weeks without much in the way of breaks.

I can pattern them both pretty well with the marine forecasts from in and near my location. The windy app hasn’t proved any degree of accuracy, in my experience.

I can make a lot of money betting the under on anything that our local forecasts give for my area. I live under the great Gallia County Rain Shield. Our county splits storms like Moses split the the Red Sea.

I show 15 degrees, with 35-50mph NW winds today with gusts over 60. It is snowing a little so you can see the wind.
