It was a grueling hunt but this guy taped out rough score about 12”, and the drag well was awful, uphill.
I was home in time for breakfast. Grandson didn’t go this morning but he brought the Honda down.

Oh Swamp, I'm with you on the other organ meats like liver, kidney and brain. But the heart is right up there with the tenderloin. Trim the fat, slice and cook in butter with onions and mushrooms -- UMMMM UMMM GOOOD.

Heart is the second best part of the deer. It looks like the Remington Mountain Rifle did it's job.

160, that was my dads gun. .308 . Good shooter, hits em hard. Him and I hunted with each other for 37 years. We are still killing bucks. Lol
