Yes you will find both even if you are not finding tracks. Set bottom edge ,top edge sets to exclude coon. If you use bait you will catch coon.

Water, mink need water, preferably moving. It doesn't need to be much but most everything they eat comes from the water. Small streams only a foot wide will hold a couple of mink.
I have nothing clever to put here.

No water here is deep just shallow, can't even make drowner sets I'm having the same problem with the water levels, I made a few small dams yesterday and again this morning in my best locations. I just got done putting in a few sets where the water is deep enough now. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box How are you anchoring your traps I'm no expert minker, but I'm learning. LoL

When I have deeper water I run a cable extension to a brick that I place in the deeper water But with the low water level I have, I'm anchoring this way For the dam , I stack rocks or limbs and leaves and use a piece of black trash bag over that and then pile wet leaves on the whole thing. Just don't go to big or it can blow out. Took 3 tries to figure that out yesterday. What kind of trap are you using for minkies?

No need to drown them, I've caught them high and dry.
Preferred, but not needs I should say.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Pick up a cheap mink book. I finally read Bob Noonans book that I bought 2 years ago. I realized that I didn’t know anything about mink trapping, I just got lucky I guess…lol 120s for the most part is what Bob and I suggest, but now I’m ordering another book to get someone else’s perspective…..broaden your horizons & knowledge I figure.

So mink are most likely where I'm trapping for them? Study up on mink biology and habits Then you will know where to look for them.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
