… sell it … get mobile and kill some deer I tend to agree...if ya got limbless trees to climb. If not, a good ground blind is very hard to beat for rifle hunting.

I could be very cool for a couple hunters. I would cut and install a small wood stove in the dump area. Install a radiant gate or.vent.
It would be a sleep over camp. There is no suspension on this old.frame,,,,, a couple of 4xs would make a very stable platform. ⁸

Friend has one built out of a wagon like that only his stand is half that size. Looks alot like that armored wagon on the old western War Wagon.

I would look into spraying the inside with foam insulation for warmth as well as deaden the sound. Being all metal the slightest bump could be quite loud. Look forward to seeing the build. Dave

I'm with Alex- foam the inside and then I would just leave the outside alone- deer see rusty farm implements every day. That one can be their last one.
Unless you sold your stock trailer with the cattle you already have my preferred stand on wheels. You can park it anywhere without raising suspicion and then move it to adjust while raisin little suspicion. It's already pre-scented so you'd have that goin for ya too.

Sold the Cattle hauler LL I'll probably clean out the bottom and build the floor at the first bend- a foot down, then go up 6.5 more feet. I want to start Now, but at 31° it's too cold to spray on Rusty metal paint.

What happened to heading out to the field and making due with what nature gives you. Rock, stump, home made ground blind, old lawn chair etc.
We got old, lazy and spoiled. If it were me, I would remove the steel box all together. It really isn't gaining you much other than it being cold and potentially noisy. Once I removed the box, I would chop the frame down and then go with traditional 2x4 construction and finish the roof and exterior with corrugated steel. For one person, 5x5 is the ideal size. If it gets any bigger, then you need to move to be able to shoot out half of the windows. That is just my opinion. I have been looking at a cheap, lightweight trailer from Harbor Freight to build a stand on that can be moved like your idea. 330, I agree about the metal box being noisy and cold. I like the tree stand that you built recently and was planning to build something similar only more enclosed with sides. That would make it more comfortable and easier to shoot out of.
It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.
