BTC hovered in the high 9k’s for five ish months before breaking 10k

And then ripping to near 20k

Same pattern today,,,,,

i think theres still a touch more upside on this run. but if the typical patterns holds it'll fall way back afterwards and hold for awhile before next run. but i never think much about timing it

Why would I invest money in something that requires an internet connection to spend or use? The biggest threat to the internet in the future is being developed right now in China, North Korea and Iran. Sophisticated cyberattacks powered by Artificial Intelligence with automated Botnets and adaptive malware. The world is not done with world wars and the next one will be with cyber attacks that destroy data. Bad things going on in parts of the world today.

Nope. I don't do stocks or crypto nonsense.

Stocks have been very pleasing this year. Don't understand what drives crypto.

The sky is the limit with crypto. The most you can lose is what you put in. Don’t put in more then you can afford to lose is the way I look at it. Don’t buy the spin offs per say. Buy the KING, which is bitcoin. Thats my 2cents worth.

To me I’d wait for some correction downward to buy it’s had a good up run but I’d think a drop would be coming.

The pattern would show a drop till spring when it decides to level off. It's pulled back but still is just under 95k atm.

Needs to be noted,,,

96% of all money in “crypto” is in bitcoin(btc). The other 4% is spread across 1500-1750ish other crypto currencies

BTC is the king,,,,,the others are pretty much irrelevant

BTC is rising because paper money(fiat) is devaluing(see inflation thread,,,,)

In my opinion(not financial advice),,,,,

USD is in trouble, but will still be around and relevant for at least another 30 years. Much after that it just doesn’t seem likely/sustainable

BTC is for saving, not investing

If you’re over 40? wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you’re looking to pass it on to someone else

If you’re under 40ish it would be very wise to do the research into BTC

Personally I’m over 50(retired) And have invested in BTC related equities, not BTC,,,,for the crypto play

Reason being,,,I’ll be dead in 30 years, or wishing I was, if not sooner. Lol

If I was younger,,,,I would be all in
