ISTJ-A

As an ISTJ (Logistician), you are the backbone of society, embodying reliability, practicality, and unwavering dedication. Your meticulous nature and strong sense of duty make you an indispensable force in both personal and professional spheres. You approach life with a clear set of principles, valuing tradition, structure, and well-defined expectations.

Your strength lies in your ability to create order from chaos, methodically organizing information and resources to achieve tangible results. You excel at maintaining systems and following through on commitments, often becoming the person others turn to when they need something done right. However, your preference for established methods can sometimes make you resistant to change, even when adaptation might be beneficial.

I can live with that.

I answered the questions honestly and thoughtfully.

The result is INTJ-A Architect.
As an INTJ (Architect), you possess a rare combination of vision and pragmatism. Your analytical mind constantly seeks to understand the world around you, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to improve systems and ideas. You approach life with a strategic mindset, always looking several steps ahead and planning for various contingencies. Your independent nature is one of your defining characteristics. You value your autonomy and often prefer to work alone, trusting your own judgment and abilities above all else. This self-reliance, combined with your intellectual prowess, allows you to tackle complex problems with confidence and innovation.

This and the rest of the descriptions are spot-on. And if the test is valid, they should be because they are based upon my honest and thoughtful answers.

I did not pay $9 to read more - no need.

Your direct communication style is both a strength and a challenge. While it enables you to express your thoughts clearly and persuasively, it can sometimes come across as blunt or insensitive to those around you. You value efficiency and competence above all else, which can make you impatient with those who don’t meet your high standards.

You thrive in environments that challenge you and provide opportunities for growth and leadership. You’re not content with the status quo and are always looking for ways to improve systems, processes, and people. Your ability to see potential and drive change makes you an invaluable asset in any organization or group, but it also means you may struggle with mundane tasks or situations that don’t align with your grand vision.

Your Career Path

Your career is more than just a job – it’s a platform for you to exercise your leadership skills and make a significant impact. You’re naturally drawn to roles that allow you to strategize, make important decisions, and guide others towards a common goal. Whether you’re running your own business or climbing the corporate ladder, you’re always aiming for the top, driven by an unwavering belief in your abilities and a desire to leave your mark on the world.

However, your career path isn’t without its challenges. Your preference for big-picture thinking and strategic planning may cause you to overlook important details or become frustrated with day-to-day operations. Learning to appreciate and manage the smaller aspects of your work, while also delegating effectively, will be crucial for your long-term success. Additionally, your direct communication style and high expectations may need to be tempered in certain professional settings to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and subordinates.

ESTJ-A

"As an ESTJ (Executive), you are the epitome of practical leadership and organizational prowess. Your world is one of structure, efficiency, and clear-cut goals, where your natural talent for management and decision-making shines brightly. You approach life with a strong sense of duty and responsibility, valuing tradition and established systems as the bedrock of a well-functioning society.

Your direct communication style and no-nonsense approach to problem-solving make you a force to be reckoned with in both personal and professional spheres. You have little patience for ambiguity or inefficiency, preferring instead to tackle challenges head-on with logical, fact-based solutions. This straightforward nature, while sometimes perceived as blunt by others, is one of your greatest strengths in achieving your goals."

I hate bad leadership so yes in many things I just take over , my wifes sais you are kinda bossy

and yes there is a google doc with what each person committed to for deer camp food
and yes there is a spreadsheet checklist for tasks to be completed to close down camp

so while I wouldn't have thought of myself as an executive , a lot of it does fit

maybe it is that I typically think of executives as suits who don't get their hands dirty and I definitely get dirty If I am going to call the shots I need to also be right in the thick of it , even if that is snaking the septic line which happened this year at deer camp.

But, the last time I took it, I was looking to pick up some part time rural delivery gigs for USPS.

I don't recall the exact result, their conclusion was something like: " There ain't no room for you anywhere in the postal system. But you are welcome to retake the test, if you like."

"Your personality type is:
Protagonist
ENFJ-T

As an ENFJ (Protagonist), you possess a unique blend of charisma, empathy, and idealism that sets you apart in any crowd. Your natural ability to inspire and lead others is matched only by your deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the world around you. You have an uncanny knack for understanding people’s emotions and motivations, often sensing what others need before they even realize it themselves.

Your gift for communication allows you to articulate your visionary ideas with passion and conviction, drawing others into your orbit and motivating them to join your cause. You thrive on meaningful connections and have a remarkable talent for bringing out the best in those around you. However, your idealistic nature can sometimes set you up for disappointment when reality falls short of your lofty expectations."

I wonder how much if at all this changes over time ?

like if you had taken it when you were 12 , 22, 32 , 42 , 52, 62 if it would be any different.

I have learned to keep calm and just keep working the problem with time

my dad and uncle were pointing out this last weekend that is not a trait I got from them, it is a learned behavior I developed working the problem every day.
we had a septic line clog at deer camp and I had to pull the toilet twice and snake the line , it plugged back up 15 minutes after I got the toilet back on the first time.
we finished deer camp Mexican Style = poo paper in a trash can not flushing cause I was so wiped out from snaking it the first 2 times.

Over time, it probably changes a lot for a few people and hardly at all for most people.
