I just watched a segment on the delivery of the national Christmas Tree to the White house. In 2019 cost $160,000.00.
In 2021 the cost of the National Chrismas tree was: $139,000.00 plus an additional $171,000.00 for the lighting ceremony from the National Parks Service.
This years tree is from an island in Alaska. US Forestry service scouted out the tree, then harvested, then boated 700 miles, then trucked 4000 miles. Lighting, security, tear down. My the waste of our tax dollars!!!!

The government wastes money on a lot worse than a National Christmas Tree. That's only around 3 families of illegal aliens worth of money.

We are talking about less than a penny cost per taxpayer. I think it’s worthwhile for the country to recognize Christmas.

I think the tree came from zarembo or heceta island if I'm not mistaken. I've cut timber on most islands in SE
