Made a nice cubby with my cage trap.. caught a coon first night.. of course he took a big dump right in the trap.. will a bobcat enter a fouled cage or do I need to pressure wash it?

I don't see why that would be a problem. If's there Is something in that cage they want they will go in.

I just wondered if the smell of fresh coon turds would be a deterrent…

Big Tom's eat coon. Whatever you have in the cage for a visual, bait and lure is the key. Location is very important as well. Cat turds with cat urine makes it very appealing. Not a deterrent in my experience.

Praise the Lord and Pass the ammunition.

I would think it would benefit you having a coon stink it up. Cats are curious and I could see a stinky cage being attractive for a cat to check out.

If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

Let us know how it works. I rarely can catch a cat or coyote here in a coon remake with footholds.
