I have a 2Stack On, 24 gun with 6 holders for handguns on the door.
What ever you do, get the biggest you can...
They never live up to capacity, and if you have long barrels make sure that they will fit.

Go as big as possible they usually hold about 1/2 the amount of guns they say

why would you get a liberty when the government can just give them a call and be like what's up we just decided to raid this dudes house can we have the code please. and theylle be like heck yeah why not and give the universal liberty safe code that unlocks any liberty safe. not a good idea a cardboard box with a master lock will protect you guns better than a liberty safe.

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

Make sure the walls provide equal or better protection than the door. A couple layers of drywall isn't much of a deterrent.

The only thing a safe is good for is to make sure neighbor kids dont play with your guns. If your not home and a thief is in your house, its a pretty good bet he can use your tools to get in it. Lots of them can be opened with a magnet, lots with a drill. if the government sends someone to open its a good thing if the manufacturer gives access. Then the gman wont destroy it to open it.

A good vault may cost more than the guns you want to put in it.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I second that they hold half what they advertise. I wish mine had the pistol holder on the door. I don't know if Fire rating is that important or not. I have heard if you have a basement and the house burns and collapses into the basement, the fire proof safe will never protect the guns. Maybe only important if you have a fire department very near by with a crew always on. "Here" the trucks are 15 miles from me and everyone is a volunteer, most living 5 to 10 miles away from town.

Nothing is fire "proof", fire ratings just tell you how long the contents are protected at what tempertures..

Read a comment once that you're better served with a broken down locking upright freezer. Doesn't look like a safe, thus may be overlooked, and will protect from fire longer than fire rated safes...

CORRECT,,you dont want to rely on a dead battery to get to your gun.

Not sure about other safes but my Browning safe will unlock if the battery goes dead on the digital lock.

54 gun champion. Had for 15ish years...

So far I can buy any gun I want. Too dang heavy to be stolen..

Never actually tested thankfully the reasons you buy a safe or if they correct with the fire retardedness and such..

No clue, I didn't design it. Just giving you my real world experience.

I would assume they designed it this way so one wouldn't need to call a lock smith because of a dead or dying battery..?

We have a 64-gun safe and it is none too big. Need a pallet jack to move it.
