Not impressed with the new boots. Get cold around zero with cotton socks. Never had cold feet in the military boots. Even after dumping out water and putting wet feet back in them. I'd be a little worried to try that with the new boots. I guess that is to be expected as they we're tested in the spring by mostly Insta-celebs.

Thanks for the report. I've been wondering when we would see some real life reviews.

Saw a number of reviews and they were just what Nooksak said.

Very disappointing to hear. Definitely seemed like you had to be some type of internet influencer to be a tester. I know a couple of us who only visit this sight applied to test and were not selected. They can have the look and a great feel, but if they won’t keep feet warm below zero, they don’t pass the test.

I tried to get a set to test, no luck. Surely won't be wasting $400 on them, I have a few sets of the old ones that I think were $50-$60 a pair...

My personal experience and opinion on the NEW Bunny boots. The positives are, super comfortable to wear, better traction with the better soles and I like the taller design. Negative’s they are not as warm as originals! Been using for just over 30 days in temps from 15 to -25. Above 0 they are ok feet are warm but not overly warm after wearing for 6-8 hours socks are dry! Not the norm with originals. Below zero feet are cool. -10 and colder toes are cold and takes a lot of wiggling to get them feeling better. But they never get warm. Recommendation is don’t buy for cold weather use! Stick with the originals.

There are lots of cheaper boots that will keep your feet warm and dry down to 0 or even -10, I thought the whole purpose/advantage of bunny boots was for extreme cold? I don't consider 0 extreme cold.

For me the purpose of them has been a do it all winter boot I can wear from the time the snow hits till it melts in the spring. I have worn them from 30 degrees to -60 or so and never had cold feet. Not to mention being able to fill them with water and still have warm feet is a huge thing since I have a tendency to find water when everything should be frozen.

You and I have that same tendency I guess, if anyone is gonna fall through the ice, it's always me lol. We do differ on our use for bunny boots, I won't wear them unless it's at least 0, preferably -10 or so. If it's above -10 and staying there, I wear insulated Xtra tuffs. Around 30 is where I switch to my summer boots (non insulated Xtra tuffs)

I tried some on the other day when I flew over to the road system. I wonder if you took the insoles the new boots have out, they might be warmer. I've broken both feet, so love insoles, but have noticed through the years that I can't use insoles other than felt in the old bunny boots, as they make my feet cold when it gets -10 or colder.

I wear Hoffman pacs, the wool felt ones in the winter, they are good to zero or below standing around for me and riding a snowmachine or walking I'm fine down to -25. And they are good comfortable walking boots, I've put 10-20 miles on in a day wearing them a lot of times. But I believe you would freeze in them at -60. I don't know, I've not spent time in much past -30 and you better be moving at that temp or your feet are going to get awfully cold. I've thought about getting a pair of bunny boots for the wife, she always gets cold feet, even in the Baffin's I bought her. But if the new ones aren't good for you guys much below zero her feet would probably freeze in them at +20.
