What is the purpose of this abomination? Why would someone want to convert an AR to bolt action? Cali and ban state legal way to have a featured rifle that is a a few parts away from whatever you want it to be

What is the purpose of this abomination? Why would someone want to convert an AR to bolt action? Host of reasons really 1. The modularity and customization you can do to an AR without needing a gunsmith is like un matched really. Kids , women, short people like me really benefit from that. Stocks, grips , optics , ect are all way easier to change on an AR. 2. State laws . Pretty sure you can't use a semi auto in a few states for hunting...but this well... Plop it on you are and it's not a semi auto. 3. You get the whole caliber swapping thing alot of people seem to like 4. Suppressed stuff 5..... Idk why not ?

After that fiasco, I ALMOST bought their.22 Mag upper. Oldest son said, " Some people just don't learn. Never thought you were one of them." So I didn't. But I STILL kinda, sorta, want to. Maybe this time will be different...

Are they a Canadian company?…..lol This is a step backwards for an AR platform….. no they are a Budget AR assembler out of North Carolina they buy up other companies over stock or runs of parts , have some made for them and then slap together what ever interesting concotion they can come up with. but pretend you are in a ban state for a moment and not a ban country you can buy everything off the shelf in another state in some cases a 20 minute drive may be all it takes you can buy and have a bolt action AR that has everything but the gas tube and gas block and semi auto bolt you can keep your bold gun in the ILL state then when you go to your cabin in WI where you keep all your actual ARs now that ILL has a ban this is very common I know a few people who "inherited" guns from their ILL friends as long as it isn't in the ILL state the ILL state doesn't care/have any say in it. so there are a LOT of guns living over the border at cabins or friends or relatives safes and they come visit their guns , in many cases they leave ILL to hunt any way. to sort of drive home the point the NE ILL pistol shooters association is in WI they moved their range to WI and hold all their competitions in SE WI

What is the purpose of this abomination? Why would someone want to convert an AR to bolt action? You can put a folding stock on it, no need for a buffer or buffer spring, quieter when shooting suppressed, lighter. Easier to clean. Several reasons. You can build an ultralight AR rifle and have the whole rifle weigh less than 3lbs for under a thousand bucks. You aren't building a regular bolt action rifle anywhere close to that weight for that price. With that being said, I wouldn't build a 450BM in a gun that light, but a 5.56, 6x45, 6ARC, 300BLK, 300 HMR, ne 338ARC that's coming out.
