Hey yall, big o Gorman coyote and cat lure fan here. There’s a lure called “Montana” with “special” written next to it from o Gorman. I’ve never seen it for sale before (it’s a buddy of mines lure he sent me pics of it). I was just curious to know if any of y’all have used it or the history behind it. Thanks

Is he no longer selling lures? What lure that is out there is it?

I tried to add a pic but couldn’t get it. This lure specifically is in an o Gorman bottle. Any ideas and I’ve heard he’s done making lures but not 100% any input ?

I think what you are asking about was his Montana Bait Special which was made by Dana when ordered. I still have a few pints but obviously it’s lost a lot of the skunk odor

Sometimes Dana added things to Montana Bait and she she wrote '' Special'' on it. I have used Montana Bait before - it works fine.

They are still making some lures and baits- you have to call and ask what they have.

Montana bait special was one of Craig's students only lure/baits.

You are correct it was only available to students and was an exceptionally good winter lure in Wyoming imo I always felt that his student only lures definitely helped offer the coyote something out of the ordinary
