I would skin and roll up with fur out in the freezer if your not going to skin, flesh and dry on a stretcher.

There was a thread on the fur handling forum about this not long ago.
Fur in, tuck the tail in, roll up nose first. Seemed to be the "consensus." Do this^^^ And then vacuum seal it.

You will be better off to flesh, board and dry the skins then keep them in the freezer until ready to sell ship or tan. If you want to keep the skins in the freezer, dampen the leather side with a spray bottle of water, turn the skins fur out and roll them up in a sturdy plastic bag, squeeze the air out of the bag before tying it up.

I have a couple that I skinned, flipped fur out, and rolled them up starting at the face. Then into a bag and in the freezer. I've always just fleshed and boarded them as I get them, but I want to frost scrape these ones and it's been too warm Minus 37c here this morning.Got 7 beaver and 2 otter frostscraped lickety split.
