Did frank morris make it to safety or did he and his buddies get swept out to sea?

Would like to think he survived - the odds were stacked against them making it. Sure made a good theory all these years since. There has been some interesting evidence surface the last few years of him having lived in South America after the escape.

Too much detail went into their planning for them not to have been aware of everything the authorities gave as reasons they didn’t make it.

Josh Gates from Expedition: Unknown I thought did a reasonable reenactment that shown it was plausible. One of the brothers was reaching out for cancer treatment ( or at least the claim was that). Supposedly Morris and the other brother had already died when the guy made the claim he was a suffering from cancer and would turn himself in if they agreed to 1 year or less back in prison and cancer treatment. I don't remember if that was John or Clarence

I believe they survived, at the time nobody would dare let it out they survived or else others would try.

Great movie & story; I think they made it too.

I know that if I had made it out, I certainly wouldn’t be bragging about it and keeping my mouth shut,,,
Frank was an expert at breaking out of prison,,, that is why they sent him to the rock…I’d have to say that given franks abilities… I think the odds were in his favor.

The word on the streets, they made it! There's a lot of guys on hear that believe the gospel our government preaches, but not I.
