Not many sellers only seen there trucks in the short time I was there. He was fair for what I had. Larry

Trevor moved his pickup point about an hour from me, so I won't be selling any fur to him this year or next.

Lucky you don't live in Montana. You have to drive an hour to get some beer. Why would you not sell to the person who pays the most for your fur? Gas is pretty cheap if you have enough fur to sell it seems like it would be worth the drive if Trevor pays more. Not saying he does or doesn't. Could be the reverse and Groney pays more but you would have to drive an hour to sell it.

I'm not driving 2 hours round trip to sell some rats for a $2.00 average.

Things for much of our common fur for us, rats, coons, reds, yotes, mink are in less demand than last year. Now days 1/10th of what was harvested a decade ago is over production. Red sqs worth more than muskrats is a telling statement. Better MI coon $6. I am putting up some bigger coons for a friend. Will be interesting to see what they will bring. Quite a few large females that either had very early litters, lost their litters or were not bred are looking good. Maybe a way nature does some population control w/o a major disease to do so.
