Anyone from Ohio know ......in layman's terms.....whats needed to get Ohio ADC licence.... fees....testing....out in field trapping testing .....age limitations......insurance........good books or videos that detail what's involved

I’m 14 and they told me I was legal to take it, I read the manual they had and studied it good then I took the test and passed. The tricky part was goose and bats

You need to read and study the Nuisance Wild Animal Control manual online and and take the test, online as well. That is free and when you get your certification it is valid for 3 years. After you have your certification you apply for your license which is an annual fee of $40; done online.

Insurance is available through several companies I've seen referred on this site; I use Bob and Sone and would recommend them; a fair price and very easy to work with.

As far as book or videos there are a lot out there but this site has the best information you are probably going to find if you look through old threads.

Order supplies from many of the good companies you find advertising or suggested on this site. Most are trappers themselves and very willing to share advice to set you up for success. Good luck!

We have been licensed in Ohio for many years. The information provided is accurate.

For liability insurance we have researched many different companies. I have been doing this commercially for 45 years or more.

We have had several companies over the years. Once one company gets too out of line with pricing we look for another.

One I would suggest to seek a quote from is Snow and Bell Insurance Co. From Brookville, Florida.
