well here goes. my first post on here thanks to my kids who have also taught me to navigate facebook and i can also now use the remote for the new smart tv. whole new world for me out here! living beside the mississippi river all my life naturally lead to being a river rat and all the fun things that go along with that. along with that being technically challenged these new advances are a real surprise for me. i have followed on here for many years and have the same hobbies as most and sure wanted to chime in from time to time and didnt know how. i look forward to chatting with the members here. thankyou

welcome aboard , what pool?

I aspire to be a river rat but live an hour east from pool 11 I hang out on the Sugar and Rock when I can't go west to the big river.

Wife and I love to spend time up in the single digit pools , we have a week trip planned for 4 , 5A this spring.
We did a long weekend on 7, 6 , 5B this fall.

Welcome from another Mississippi river rat. I grew up on the banks of the mighty Mississippi used to snag spoonbill below lock and dam 19.

Welcome from Pool 7!

Few things cause me greater anxiety than pushing buttons that make little lights go on. If you would hand me an Etch-s-Sketch nd tell me it's a new laptop I would be overjoyed.

Welcome!

River rat myself, Mom knew where to find me from the time I could hold a fishing pole. Never in my 62 years have I lived more than a 1/2 mile from it and I bet I've spent more time in a boat than anything.

Do ya have rats a d mink where you're at?

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
