Pannhaas is the ticket, that is some good stuff.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Headcheese…. I carried the hogs head in to slice up on the bandsaw when I was a kid. Once you know you know, at least for most! Times aren’t that hard once the eyeballs float to the surface.

I bet I've got everyone beat on this subject. I've NEVER eaten any kind of hamburger, steak, pasta, hot dish, pizza, turkey , chicken, etc.. I basically live off raw veggies, yogurt, bacon, hard salami/summer sausage, and jerky (and vitamins). I'm 45 years old and have been an extremely "picky" eater my entire life. Within the last year I've finally found out it's actually a eating disorder called A.R.F.I.D.S or Adult Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. Its a very odd and extremely complex eating disorder with very limited treatment options and hard to explain so I won't be doing so here. A great uncle on my mother's side ate pretty much exactly how I do throughout his life and lived to 90. Doctor's have never raised any concerns over the extremely limited variety of foods I eat, actually have said if everyone ate like me we'd all live to 100. But there ya go,winner winner NO chicken for dinner😉

Lots of common foods I've never eaten like Pasta salad, Cole slaw,Yogurt, Tapioca, Asparagus, and Brussels sprouts.

I'm not talking tried and didn't like it either, never tried them. Mom just never had that kinda stuff and I cook pretty much as she did.

Even though I hated growing up in Chicago and couldn't wait to get out, I have to say I do miss the food. Grew up in an Italian household and good food was always there, and the feasts with the old women "off the boat' bringing dishes that just knock your socks off. The different little shops back then with food from all over. Didn't do much resturant eating but the family get togethers always good Italian food. My uncle's dad was achef and had his own resturant. Spent a lot of time at my uncle's welding shop where he had a kichen upstairs and I learned a lot of cooking from him. Hard to find that stuff in the grocery stores here, but I make do. Told myself after I got out of the hospital that I was going to only eat good. Can find all kinds of good recipes on the internet, some the way they are, others just tweak a bit.Kind of feel sorry for folks with such a limited palette but it don't affect me so I don't care
