My dog has arthritis and bone cancer. we gotta put her down soon. just pray she doesn’t hurt and that the lord takes her because i don’t wanna have to put her down. she was a strong dog until today she wasn’t able to walk on her back legs. took her to the vet and got the bad news in x-rays. she’s almost 16 which is old for a lab. i had her since i was 4. best dog i have ever and will ever meet. we can amputate the leg but she can’t walk because of her spine still. i mentioned a dog wheelchair thing but the vet said there’s not much she can do. just cruddy. pray for a miracle healing please, just so she can have one more summer to swim in the pond.

Awful decision to have to make. I went through it last year. It was pretty terrible. Everyone said she would go to sleep and just not wake up, but whatever my vet used, it wasn't that... the moment it hit her she was gone, she never felt a thing. But it shocked ME because it was nothing like what everyone said would occur.

The vet out here will come to the house which I think is easier on the dog than taking it to town. If you can't do it yourself I think it'd the next best option, really keeping her around at this point is hard on them

Gone Trappin, I have had to do that way too many times and it never gets easier. But it is better for them that you do it when you know the dog is suffering and there is no hope for improvement. Praying for comfort.
