Appaently coyotes aren't good ENOUGH at it.

No shortage of coyotes here. No sortage of feral cats, either. My own sister's 2 housecats are out 50% of the time or more, and have been so for years. I've seen them and gotten trailcam pics of them a looooong way through the woods from her place. They ain't ended up coyote or fox or fisher crap, yet......

Coyotes view cats as an easy meal and well as competition for their prey. They will not fare well in coyote country.

Along with Fox, Hawks and Owl's! No to mention all the diseases a free ranging cat can catch.

I have seen a pair of fox that had a den near a dairy that I trapped for many years, they cleaned out that farmers cat population in a few months. The pups were raised on cat meat then once the pups were weaned they picked up where the adult fox began.

So if fox can live off cats you know that coyotes are a greater threat to cats.

I trapped a farmland area this year that is part of a commercial hog confinement. They plugged up my coyotes sets so bad it was hard to believe. Coyotes never killed any in the sets, but they do have hogs on the compost piles if they want them.

This was about 180 acres of tillable and timber. There were cats still there when I left.

NO she is not.
Coyotes kill domestic cats all the time.
Quite a few photos on the internet showing coyotes carrying a dead cat in it's mouth
