Pictures ? Did you purchase outright or have one made from your own furs? Maybe one day after I catch more raccoons I can save them all up and have them sent. I think that would be luxurious!

I have beaver mittens, the wife has a red fox coat, and the grand kids all just got a coon skin hat for Christmas. But no blanket.
Edit to say these were all made with fur that I caught because I know one of my friends will ask me where I bought the fur. LOL

I also have beaver mittens from fur I caught years and years ago. USA Fox did the work but I hear folks aren’t too happy with them lately. My husband bought me a hat to match. Also have a badger hat but I look kinda silly with it

My wife and I made this one. Beaver with otter trim at top. 3 otters, maybe 30 beaver in a randomized brick pattern. I cut strips parallel with the fur 3 1/2” wide and A graded the best strips. Ears, noses, leg holes etc are weeded out. Then she sewed them together end to end. Then I took those strips and put them side to side. Trim is a cross section 6-8” wide of otter. Its on a king size bed and I think i got 80x80 out of it. Lined with a light pendelton wool blanket. I hate go somewhere else and sleeping under other blankets lol Furs tanned at moyles

I made a full-size beaver bed spread many years ago, it was too warm and heavy for me. I sold it. If I were to make one again, I would use a lighter weight fur; maybe muskrat.
