I get my weather forecast off the computer, from The Weather Channel. It was 12 degrees off on the temperature when I got up. It is off 6-8 degrees most the time and I chalked it up to me being out of town 6 miles. They say the wind is 10-20 out of the NW and it is almost dead south and has been since I got up about 0500. The hourly high for the day does not match the ten day, three day or today weather forecast. Where do you get your weather forecast from? Is it close to ever right?

By far the best and most used app on my phone is the tabular weather from NOAA. Type in your location, and look for the two day weather forecast. You can punch it out further if you want, but it shows anything and everything you would ever want to know. I use it hunting/calling all the time. Its wind change and direction are almost always spot on. Once you learn it, it is an amazing tool.

Also, my local weather first warn weather is a good source for me for my area.

There's lots of little micro-zones of weather. Temperature, snowfall and rainfall accumulations can vary greatly in just a few miles, especially in areas with rough terrain. Keith I am in ND, pretty flat and open here. The wind direction being off is a bit much. I will bet that most the state had the same direction wind as I did. I have looked at the NOAA site in the past and will look at it again. From what I saw it was a click here then there site. All kinds of stuff but you can't see it from here. I don't do apps, I do not have a phone.
