Does anyone carry replacement spring hooks made by Belisle? I swear someone was marketing a "Belisle-type" spring hook.....the one made out of wire and does NOT flop around like traditional rod safety hooks?

I have some non-Belisle traps I'd like to put them on.......

The MB hooks work fairly well, wasn’t install. Not sure how you would attach Belisle hooks.

I would think it would be pretty tough to attach them.

Id think youd have to sell a tool to make them on a spring. Its basically a prussic hitch made out of wire added to the spring

Nessmuck has a trap tip thread about wrapping wire around the existing floppy safeties, works pretty well.

That is true.....maybe I am mis-remembering them being for sale as ad-on's............I am getting old!

Try this with the safety’s that come with the trap. Makes no difference whether you have Dukes or RBGs, the tubing works as shown and are still working as seen in the video!

I used some old tie wire off my truck to wrap around my crappy safeties, but those traps generally stay in the shed now, got enough beezleez for most jobs now.
